Samantha (Sam) Vega

Clinical Therapist - Maryland

In progress for credentialing with CareFirst!

Thanks for visiting my page, and I’m glad you’re here!

I earned my Master’s in Social Work (MSW) from Salisbury University, with a focus on trauma. Throughout my career, I’ve gained experience working in a variety of settings, including child welfare, disability employment services and homeless outreach.

Upon completing my Master’s Degree, I became a Social Worker for the State of Maryland, where I worked in the foster care unit, providing critical services to children and families.

I have extensive experience working with children and families facing challenges related to homelessness, mental health and substance abuse.

Using frameworks such as Motivational Interviewing and a Person-Centered approach, my work has involved providing support, resources and interventions to help these individuals navigate difficult circumstances and improve their overall well-being.

I’m passionate about supporting individuals and couples navigating relationship issues, including sex, intimacy and communication.

I look forward to supporting you in your therapeutic journey!
